Trail Description

Not as easy as it looks. Starting at the railroad station of Theux, the ride meanders upwards towards the highest point in Belgium. The downhill follows the river Hoegne for the most part, with a difficult climb near the end.
A pair of watertight socks is a nice thing to have, especially when you do this ride in spring, winter or autumn. Also, there is a fair bit of climbing in the downhill section as well but you can cut short the last 2 climbs if you follow the tarmac road from Polleur into Theux instead. This saves you around 200 heightmeters.Photos: See all pictures and videos from Theux-Signal de Botrange-Theux (scenic route)
