Partenza da Tolmezzo (Bar Belvedere). Si prende la strada principale che porta a lllegio. Oltrepassato il paese si continua sempre su strada asfaltata lungo tornanti fino ad un altopiano (loc. Lunze). Sulla destra si prende la lunga pista forestale che porta sotto le pendici settentrionali del monte Amariana (tratti cementati impegnativi). Finalmente in discesa si raggiunge il bivacco Cimenti Floreanini. Difronte al rifugio ha inizio la discesa su sentiero Cai n.443. Poco dopo si abbandona il sentiero sulla sinistra lungo una buona traccia segnalata da qualche bollo rosso. Si perde quota nella faggeta e in diagonale si superano alcuni impluvi. Si scende ripidamente con tornanti stretti lungo un costone fino a giungere sull'orlo di un burrone. Si traversa a destra su esile ed aerea traccia (prestare molta attenzione). A piedi si affronta un tratto molto esposto attrezzato con pioli, scaletta e cavo passamano. Sempre in traverso si prosegue più facilmente verso Illegio. Ad un bivio dove si gira a sinistra seguendo un sentiero sassoso fino a giungere sulle ghiaie del poligono. In breve si fa ritorno al punto di partenza (diff. single trail S3).
