This is a brilliant trip. I had expected a boring day as it's on tarmac the gorge is THE most gorgeous I have seen to date.My satnav lot the satellites in the deep gorge and went haywire, so I have used the section from the Transpirinaica people. See them at http://www.transpirinaica.com/entr.htm
There is a route off the gorge somewhere that allows you to get onto the tops. When I went in June parts were still blocked by snowdrifts, though some chaps managed to get through.
