Startpunkt der Tour ist das Vereinsheim des SV Essen-Steele an der Westfalenstraße 210 in Essen. Von dort überquert man zuerst die Ruhr um dann den ersten Anstieg zu bewältigen. Technisch wird es dann zum ersten Mal bei Byfang, wenn man auf den K-Weg trifft Im weiteren Verlauf folgt dann das Asbachtal. Wobei man vorher noch den Anstieg über "Die Wiese" zu bewältigen hatte. Nach der Bachquerung im Asbachtal und der darauf folgenden langezogenen Steigung führte die Strecke weiter zum Hespertal. Dort lagen leider ein paar Bäume auf den Trails. Nachdem man das Hespertal verlassen hat, trifft man wieder auf den K-Weg der einen dann hinuter zum Baldeneysee führt. Diesen halb umrundet und die Holzbrücke über den See überquert, folgte die letzte Steigung der Tour, an der Zeche Carl Funke hinauf in den Stadtwald. In schneller Abfahrt bewältigt man auch die letzten Kilometer wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Starting point of the tour is the clubhouse of SV Essen-Steele in Westfalenstrasse 210 in Essen. From there you cross first and then tackle the first climb the Ruhr.
