Casola Valsenio – Prati Piani – Faggiola – Valmaggiore – Casola Valsenio
Km. 47 con 1.323 mt di dislivello, senza grosse difficoltà ( max S2), salvo la discesa dal Monte Macchia di Cani da fare a piedi per circa 800mt ( tratti con 50% di pendenza ).
Partenza dal Campo sportivo fuori Casola Valsenio, girare a destra per Baffadi e salire per la via Trerio fino a 600 mt di quota. Si prende a sinistra la forestale sterrata ( tornannte a 180°) che sale fino al Monte del Puntale ( 756 mt) Si prosegue seguendo la strada ( sentiero 625 CAI ) fino alla sbarra, dove si abbandona il sentiero per seguire la strada ( si fa per dire ) in discesa. Al bivio in fondo, a sinistra si torna verso la SS 306, nei pressi di Misileo, a destra si prosegue in dolce salita verso i Prati Piani, dove si trova la sede della Dogana del Granducato di Toscana. A sinistra si tornerebbe verso Palazzuolo, prendendo la sterrata fra i due edifici si scende invece al borgo di Bibbiana. Tenere la destra sulla SP32 fino al valico della Faggiola, dove sulla destra si imbocca il sentiero 701 CAI che passa sotto la cima del monte Faggiola. Si prosegue in single treck fino al monte Macchia di Cani dove il tratto pedalabile si interrompe bruscamente su un panorama mozzafiato che spazia fino alle Alpi. Bisogna scendere a piedi per almeno 200 mt di dislivello, poi si ricomincia a pedalare seguendo il sentiero 701 di crinale, Monte di Croce, Monte Acuto, Valmaggiore, Monte Battaglia. Le opzioni per scendere a Casola sono diverse. Questo tracciato scende verso San Ruffillo attraverso la sterrata del Castagneto.

Out from the sports field outside Casola Valsenio, turn right and go up the street Baffadi Trerio up to 600 meters above sea level.
