Die Tour wird in der offiziellen Bike-Literatur der Südtiroler Tourismusämter beschrieben. Sie verläuft bergauf auf dem gut ausgebauten Wirtschaftsweg zu den Almen und folgt bergab alten Alm- und Forstwegen. Beim Uphill sind ca. 800 Höhenmeter recht kerzengerade am Stück zu bewältigen, da der Weg ohne Serpentinen dem Bachlauf im Talboden folgt. Wir starten in Taufers im Val Müstair kurz vor der Grenze zur Schweiz und folgen im Ort der Ausschilderung in Richtung Avignatal. Der anfangs geteerte Wirtschaftsweg geht nach einer Weile in einen gut ausgebauten Schotterweg über. Kurz unterhalb der Mangitsalm (1.836 m) kreuzen wir auf ca. 1.780 m Höhe den Bach. Wir folgen dem Almweg weiter bis zur Mitteralm (2.023 m), dem Ziel unserer Tour. Bergab führt uns der eben beschriebene Weg wieder bis zur Mangitsalm, wir biegen jedoch auf der orografisch rechten Bachseite etwas unterhalb der Almgebäude auf den markierten Almweg Nr. 1 über die Wiesen ein. Der Almweg trifft schließlich auf eine Forststraße, die uns am Talausgang über eine Brücke wieder auf den Wirtschaftsweg zurück nach Taufers führt.

The tour is described in the official Bike literature of the South Tyrolean tourism offices. It runs uphill to the well-developed agricultural road to the mountain pastures and follows old downhill alpine and forest roads. When Uphill about 800 vertical meters are pretty straight cope at a time, since the path without serpentine follows the creek in the valley. We start Tures in Val Müstair just before the border with Switzerland and follow the signs in place Avignatal. The first paved service road goes into a well-developed gravel after a while. Just below the Mangitsalm (1,836 m) we crossed at about 1780 m altitude the creek. We follow the cart path next to the Mitteralm (2,023 m), the aim of our tour. Downhill leads us the way just described again until Mangitsalm, however, we turn on the orographic right side of the stream just below the Almgebäude on marked mountain path no. 1 over the meadows one. The alpine path meets finally on a forest road that takes us across the mouth over a bridge back to the farm track back to Campo Tures.
