Diese Tour setzt Abenteuerlust und ein Mountainbike voraus. Wer will, kann es aber auch mit einem Trekkingbike wagen. Am Start- und Zielpunk der Tour kann kostenlos geparkt werden. Alles fertig – dann kann es losgehen! Höhepunkt der Rundtour stellt natürlich der ehemalige Militärflughafen Brandis-Polenz dar. Dort teste Arthur Sack aus Machern in den 1940iger Jahren seinen Rundflüger AS-6. Die Flugzeughalle, in der dieses futuristische Fluggerät untergestellt war, ist nach meinen Recherchen heute noch vorhanden. Und wenn man seiner Phantasie etwas freien Lauf gewährt, kann man sagen, dass man sich am Geburtsort der Legende von der Reichsflugscheibe befindet. Den Faden noch etwas weiter gesponnen, unter der Annahme, dass die Amerikaner solch ein Fluggerät nach dem Krieg in die Wüste von New Mexico gebracht haben, steht man am Geburtsort der UFO-Legende. Das ist doch mal was! Aber auf dem Flugplatz gibt es noch viele andere spannende Sachen zu entdecken. Viel Spass auf der gesamten Tour wünscht Magic21
