Escursione classica annuale organizzata dal club Mtb Rieti, tolta la parte goliardica e mangiareccia anch'essa di tutto rispetto il giro si presenta come uno dei piu' belli e difficili per via del fatto che si arriva al mitico passo del Lupo situato a quota 1700 metri.Il giro ha come luogo di partenza Contigliano, ma il ritrovo e la partenza ufficiale e' situato presso la fontanella fuori porta d'arce a Rieti, da qui prendiamo la strada che ci porta verso la Salaria per il Terminillo e al semaforo si gira a Sx,da qui dopo pochi metri si va a Sx dove troviamo subito un bella salita corta ma impegnativa, si prosegue fino ad arrivare al piccolo paesino di Castelfranco, dove troviamo anche una fontanella per fare rifornimento di acqua, anziche' scendere si prende a Sx e percorriamo la strada,tutti sali e scendi, che ci portera' fino a Cantalice Superiore.Arrivati qui proseguiamo verso la localita' Gli Osti,la strada inizia a salire anche in maniera importante,dopo questa piccola frazione inizia la strada sterrata che arriva alla fonte dell'Aracucca,qui si va a dx, direzione Acerella,fino al rifugio Castiglioni a quota 1400 metri e proseguendo dopo un breve tratto in piano si fa l'ultimo tratto molto impegnativo e duro per arrivare ad un bivio al quale noi andiamo a Sx.Proseguiamo per circa un paio di km, prestando attenzione perche' poi troveremo sempre a Sx un sentiero per un breve tratto pedalabile, per poi proseguire a piedi fino al passo.Dopo avere ripreso fiato, si inizia a scendere per il sentiero, il primo tratto e' da fare a piedi perche' impervio, poi per i piu' temerari si puo' risalire in bici per arrivare ai Prati di San Bartolomeo, si attraversa la piccola valle e si ripercorre un breve tratto a piedi e poi in discesa per un bellissimo sentiero si arriva alla localita' Versanello,anche qui troviamo un fontanile dove prendere acqua,ripresa la strada sterrata arriviamo al precedente bivio della fontana dell'Aracucca per poi riprendere la strada che ci porta nuovamente al luogo di partenza.
