Il percorso si snoda attraverso prati e pascoli, alternando tratti di sterrato a tratti in asfalto, affaciandosi sulla sottostante pianura Biellese.
I luoghi più rappresentativi dell'itinerario sono:
- Il borgo di Bagneri sede dell'Ecomuseo della civiltà montanara;
- Il "Tracciolino" Andrate/Oropa SP 512 (se ne farà solo una parte);
- La "Trappa", sede dell'Ecomuseo della tradizione costruttiva locale;
- La pista da down-hill.
L'itinerario parte da Occhieppo Superiore, scende fino al torrente Elvo, attraversato il quale si risale per Muzzano e si raggiunge il comune di Graglia, caratterizzato dalle numerose ville storiche. Si prosegue percorrendo la SP 511 in direzione del Santuario di Graglia e prima di averlo raggiunto, si svolta per la frazione di Bagneri; quando il bosco si apre ai pascoli si intravede il piccolo borgo di Bagneri in cui si segnala la chiesa e l'Ecomuseo della civiltà montanara:. Si continua a salire raggiungendo la strada panoramica provinciale SP 512 denominata "Tracciolino", da cui si possono ammirare numerosi alpeggi: sarà una delle prossime mete primaverili da percorrere nella sua interezza da Andrate fino ad Oropa e che non ha nulla a che spartire con il ben più noto "Tracciolino della Val Codera". Questo è un tracciolino facile che si snoda su strada con traffico pressochè inesistente, ma che è meraviglioso per il panorama.
Si prosegue fino ad incontrare la strada che porta alla "Trappa", spettacolare sede dell'Ecomuseo della tradizione costruttiva locale:. Altro posto che merita una visita e una pausa ristoratrice. Una volta davanti all'ingresso dell'Ecomuseo prendiamo a dx girandoci attorno e dopo poco inizia la discesa più tecnica della giornata su vecchia mulattiera in cattivo stato che va percorsa con attenzione ed in velocità per non scivolare e non impiantarci sui sassi presenti sul sentiero (attenzione quando bagnati). Proseguendo si incontrano castagni secolari, boschi di betulle fino a raggiungere il Santuario di San Grato per poi risalire nuovamente al "Tracciolino". Raggiunte una serie di villette (desolatamente vuote), si abbandona la provinciale e finalmente inizia il tratto in discesa verso Pollone, attraverso boschi di conifere, castagni e pascoli su pista da down-hill. Si percorre anche un tratto dell'antica strada ferrata che da Biella portava ad Oropa. Raggiunto il Comune di Pollone, dove è visitabile l'oratorio di San Barnaba, si attraversa l'abitato in direzione Sordevolo lungo la SP 502. In località Verdobbio, presso l'Oratorio San Rocco, si abbandona la Provinciale e si svolta verso Occhieppo Superiore passando per la frazione di Galfione.

The path winds through meadows and pastures, alternating stretches of dirt road at times in asphalt, affaciandosi on the plain below Biella. < br>
most representative places of the itinerary are:
- The village of Bagneri seat of the Eco mountain culture;
- "Tracciolino" Andrate / Oropa SP 512 (if you will only a part);
- The "La Trappe", home of the Eco local building traditions;
- The down-hill slope.
The route starts from Occhieppo Superiore, down to Elvo the stream, through which it goes back to Muzzano and you will reach the town of Graglia, characterized by the many historic villas. Continue along the SP 511 in the direction of Graglia Sanctuary and before it reached, turning about Bagneri; when the forest opens to the pastures you can see the small village of Bagneri in which we report the church and the Living Museum of the mountain culture :. It continues to rise, reaching the scenic road SP 512 named "Tracciolino", from which you can admire numerous pastures: it will be one of the next goals spring to go in its entirety by Andrate until Oropa and that has nothing to do with the more well-known "Tracciolino Val Codera." This is an easy tracciolino that unfolds on a road with traffic almost non-existent, but it is wonderful for the view.
Continue until you reach the road leading to "La Trappe", a spectacular venue Eco local building traditions: . Another place worth a visit and a refreshing break. Reached the City of Sucker, where you can visit the Oratory of St. Barnabas, through the village in the direction Sordevolo along the SP 502 In the resort Verdobbio, at the San Rocco Oratory, leave the main road and turn towards Occhieppo Superiore passing through the village of Galfione.
