Ausgangspunkt ist Rio Nell´Elba, ein hübsches Bergdorf. Es gibt dort ein ehemaliges Waschhaus und eine Eremitage zu besichtigen. Über Asfalt hinauf zum Pass und dann weiter auf dem GTE (GranTransversaleElba, also der Elbadurchquerungsweitwanderweg). Dann auf der ASfalstraße wieder bergauf bis LA PARATA, und dann auf den Trail F. so del Giove - ehemalige Bergwerksanlage - Mt. Sessera - Mte Bicocco - und hinunter zum Meer (dazwischen ist ein Steinbruch, wo man den ganzen Tag funparkartig Spaß haben kann!!!!!!!) Am Meer entlang bis zur Nordspitze und über Serpentinen bis zum Denkmal (man kann dieses innen hochklettern, aber die Stufen der Wendeltreppe sind total verrostet, eine ist unter mir abgebrochen, ist wirklich gefährlich, gut sichern!!!!) Dann auf Asfalt wieder zurück zum Auto nach Rio.

The starting point is Rio Nell'Elba, a pretty mountain village. There is to visit a former wash house and a hermitage. About tarmac up to the pass and then continue on the GTE (GranTransversaleElba, so the Elba crossing distance trail). Then on the ASfalstraße again uphill to LA PARATA, and then on the Trail F. so del Giove - former mining investment - Mt Sessera - Mte Bicocco - and down to the sea (in between is a quarry where you can have fun all day fun park-like !!!!!!!) along the sea to the northern tip and bends to the monument (you can climb this inside, but the steps of the spiral staircase are totally rusted, one is broken off below me, is really dangerous, secure good !! !!) Then on tarmac back to the car to Rio.
