Technisch schwierige Auffahrten, eine grandiose und geschichtsträchtige Landschaft und Abfahrten, die volle Konzentration fordern zeichnet die Tour zum Monte Grappa aus. Start ist die Kirche B. V. del Covolo. Kurz nach der Kirche beginnt der Mulattiera, eine Auffahrt die durch den losen und verblockten Untergrund volle Konzentration aber auch Kondition erfordert. Einige Kilometer quält man sich so dem Monte Grappa entgegen. Bei Höhenmeter 1500 ist das Monument und das Rifugio Bassano schon zum greifen nah. Noch kurz einige Höhenmeter auf Schotter und das letzte Stück die Teerstraße hinauf, dann kann man die Geschichte des heiß umkämpften Berges förmlich spüren. Bei gutem Wetter lässt es sich bis zur Adria blicken. Oberhalb des Refugio beginnt der Sent. 156 an dessen Rändern alte Schützengräben und Stellungen erkennbar sind. Kurz danach beginnt der Sent. 151. Ein nähmaschinenartiges Zick-Zack-Muster gilt es nun talabwärts zu meistern. Auch hier einige verblockte Stellen und auch enge Kehren. Die Aussicht in die Poebene ist grandios. Nach schnellem Flug gen Tal werden locker einige Straßenkilometer abgespult, ehe nach einem Gegenanstieg und einem kurzen Waldweg vorbei an einer Madonnengrotte der Startpunkt, der Parkplatz an der Trattoria „Ae Piere rosse“ erreicht wird.

Technically difficult climbs, a magnificent and historic landscape and descents, demand full concentration distinguishes the tour to Monte Grappa. Start is the church as V. del Covolo. After rapid flight conditions valley a few kilometers of road become loose unwound before after an ascent and a short forest trail past a Madonna Grotto of the starting point, the parking lot at the Trattoria & bdquo; Ae Piere rosse & ldquo; is achieved.
