Trail Description

A small, scenic tour along the Ennepetalsperre on paved Economic and forest trails with beautiful views & nbsp. Due to the way nature a mountain bike is required. Starting point is the parking Bauendahl. Here, first follow the paved road uphill and then turn into the forest path. After a left exit leads a small narrow bridge over the Ennepe. Now right on the paved service road. This leads us to the dam of Ennepetalsperre and continue along the west bank. Just before the village of EN-Altena we follow the path ascending towards the east and come to some farms over to then turn into a forest. Go on fishing house we turn twice left and follow the east bank of the Ennepetalsperre up a notch. Unfortunately, a complete bypass of Ennepetalsperre is not possible and so we go in front of the closed gate to the right on an uphill trail that leads us back to a farm track. After a few kilometers we meet again on the L699, we follow the approximately 300m east, turning later in the Wittenstein left. Here it goes through the village Lausberg on rough roads through the Siepen downhill direction Ennepetal Castle. In the Burger mill can get a cool drink or taste but also a cream pie (attention: opening times at 02333 6085850 or www.landgasthof-burgermuehle.de ask Mo + Tue Closed). Now we will follow the 100m L699 and then branch off into a dirt road immediately left. We follow this until we meet again the " Bauendahl " reach. Immediately left is the parking lot. We are noon this tour on 18.08.2012 at 35 ° C, and loaded down enough breaks. In the village the trail Kückelhausen X20 is almost invisible behind a house and a barn on the left and leads practically also back on the track. Since this path was but extremely overgrown and our vaccination against tick bites was quite a while ago, we opted for the paved road. I think in the late autumn, then the X20 risking again. Maximum Incline: 17% Maximum gradient: 20% Max Altitude:. 404 m Min height:. 258 m
