Trail Description

...almeno noi l'abbiamo bevuta...)

Each of us has a preferred path, a single track that he loves more than the other ... well mine is probably the so-called "Tajata del Subasio" single track in the middle (high) costs that cuts precisely the southwest flank of Mount Subasio share 1000-1100m about joining "Madonna of stripping" to Stazzi above Assisi. Through this path you skip the scenic dirt road that leads back to the top of Subasio. Well, the view is truly unique and a single track trail clean, perfect, from the beautiful flow trail. But the question is, what the best way to travel this path? From Spello to Assisi, slightly uphill slowly discovering the views of Assisi or slightly downhill, leaving the city of San Francisco behind and having in front of the profile of the Apennines and the Umbrian valley south of Foligno to Spoleto? Well between the two, better course both! This track addresses the "dilemma" interpreting paths well known to local, allowing runs in both directions, without a simple back and forth, the famous "Tajata" for gaining even more the summit of Mount Subasio at an altitude of 1290m.

Made with gusset and Fedex 10/13/2013 with the classic sea of ??fog in the valley and the sun in peak
NB Mount Subasio is stingy in water sources, at least near the top. During the tour you will be right at the top to move to the side a watering hole, at an altitude of about 1,250, well then lifting the cover sheet you can not reach the nozzle from which to take fresh water (drinking !? ... at least we think l ' we drink ...)
