Wir starten am Zoo Neuwied und fahren hiner dem Zoo rechts den Berg hinauf. Hier gehts schonmal richtig straff bergan, prima zum warm werden. Oben angekommen geht die Tour weiter durch Wald und Feldwege erst um Kleinmaischeid herum und danach rüber nach Großmaischeid. Dieses umrunden wir auch. Dann geht es weiter Richtung Isenburg. Hier müssen wir leider 5 km auf der Landesstraße fahren. Aber man kann das auch als kurze Ausruhphase nehmen, weil wir noch eine Steigung,die es in sich hat. bis hoch zum Zoo zu bewältigen haben. Bei ca km 27,3 verlassen wir die Landesstrasse und biegen rechts ab. ACHTUNG, die Abzweigung kann man leicht verpassen. Ab hier sinds noch ca 3 km durch den Wald bis zurück zum Zoo. Einkehrmöglichkeiten : Bei ca. km 5,9 Restaurant Fischerhütte Meißel, bei ca km 15,4 Hotel Tannenhof. Fazit : Schöne Tour, Viel Wald und Feldwege. Macht Spass.
