Ich habe diese Tour auf der Hohen Wand deshalb 12 Hüttentour genannt, weil entlang der Route, aufgefädelt wie auf einer Schnur sich 12 (oder mehr) Hütten oder Gasthäuser befinden. Start ist in Dreistetten am Parkplatz beim Scharrerwirt. Es geht Richtung Sportplatz und dann auf einem Forstweg mit einigen Serpentinen hinauf zum Herrgottschnitzerhaus. Von dort geht es weiter auf der asphaltierten Straße zum Kohlröserlhaus. Von der Kleinen Kanzelstr. biegen wir dann links in einen Forstweg ein, queren eine Wiese und fahren dann hinauf zu einer der Paragleiter Startplätze. Nach einem schönen Forstweg erreichen wir das Gasthaus Luf und das Hochkogelhaus. Von dort auf der Forststraße weiter erreichen wir die Bergsteigerhütte Hohe Wand und das Wr.Neustädterhaus. (Einige 100m dahinter befindet sich auch ein Aussichtsturm.) Unsere Tour geht aber in Richtung Klein Kanzel Haus weiter, wo man mit einem schönen Ausblick belohnt wird. Die Tour geht weiter Richtung Plackles wo man bei der Naturwacht beim früheren Schlepplift am WE auch Verpflegung bekommt. Von Plackles geht es weiter zur bewirtschafteten Wilhelm Eichert Hütte, weiter zur Turmkogelhütte und zum entferntesten Punkt der Tour zum Hubertushaus. Am Rückweg nehmen wir bis auf den Mittelteil, wo wir einen Abstecher über den Gasthof Postl und die Ortlerhütte machen. die Route der Hinfahrt. Naütrlich besichtigen wir auch den SkyWalk. Enden tut die Tour beim Scherrerwirt.

I did this tour on the Hohe Wand therefore called 12 hut tour because along the route, such as threaded on a string is 12 (or more) are lodges or inns. Home is in Dreistetten on parking by Scharrer host. It goes towards the sports field and then on a forest with some serpentines up to Herrgottschnitzerhaus. From there we continue on the paved road to the Kohlröserlhaus. From the Little Kanzelstr. then we turn left into a forest one, cross a meadow and then go up one of the paragliders launch sites. After a lovely forest path we reach the inn Luf and Hochkogelhaus. From there on the forest road we reach the climbers hut Hohe Wand and the Wr.Neustädterhaus. (Some 100m behind it is also a lookout tower.) Our tour goes but towards small pulpit next house, where you will be rewarded with a beautiful view. The tour continues towards Plackles where you can also get meals at the park rangers at the former T-bar on the weekends. From Plackles it goes on to the serviced Wilhelm Eichert hut, continue to Turmkogel hut and to the most distant point of the tour to the Hubertus House. On return, we take up in the middle part, where we make a detour via the inn Postl and the Ortler hut. the route of the outward journey. Naütrlich we also visit the Skywalk. Ends doing the tour when Scherrerwirt.
