Eine knackige 1000 hm-Runde von Neustift auf die nördliche Talflanke (= Mittagssonne!). Diese Wand ist ziemlich steil und nur wenige Trails sind von uns Normalbikern wirklich mit Spaß befahrbar, auf dieser Runde werden möglichst viele davon mitgenommen. Vom Start am Billa-Parkplatz (gratis) geht's erstmal 10 km steil auf Asphalt und Pisten bergauf. Am kurzen Tunnel das Radfahrerschild einfach ignorieren, die alte Umgehung ist nicht befahrbar. Von der Kaserstattalm hinunter gibt's zunächst einen trailartigen Karrenweg zur Galtalm, dann ein bisschen steile Wiese (Skipiste, muss in Kehren gefahren werden weil sonst zu steil), und ab der Fronebenalm noch ein Stück Piste. Zur Vergörhütte sind dann nochmals 120 hm auf Piste zu überwinden, dafür folgt ein reinrassiger Trail mit knackigen Gegenanstiegen, aber mit guter Übersetzung durchgehend fahrbar. Ab Außerpfurtschell schließlich auf Karrenwegen wieder hinab ins Tal und zurück nach Neustift.

A crisp 1000 hm Round of Neustift on the northern side of the valley (= midday sun). This wall is quite steep and trails are only a few of us normal bikers really passable with fun, on this round as many of them are taken. From the start at Billa Parking (free) It's first 10 km steep uphill on tarmac and runways. At the short tunnel shield the cyclists simply ignore the old bypass is not passable. Down of the Kaserstattalm's first trail like a cart path to Galtalm, then a bit steep meadow (slopes must be driven in turns because otherwise too steep), and from the Fronebenalm still a piece of track. To Vergörhütte 120 hm to be overcome on runway then again, it follows a thoroughbred trail with crisp ascents, but with good translation through mobile. From Außerpfurtschell finally on cart tracks back down into the valley and back to Neustift.
