Trail Description

This Tremalzo tour starts in Sompriezzo, a small village above Limone, belonging to a community called Tremosine. This is definitely worth a trip and our property, a farm called La Zangola (www.lazangola.info), you can fully recommend. The driveway is long, mainly on gravel or forest roads , and sometimes very exhausting, but through mobile. On the way to get to about 1330hm over to Malga Ca da l`era where available from mid June to mid September the cows of La Zangola and you subject yourself if necessary, reheat or can rest. An economy in the classic sense There is only on 1615hm, here you can see the products of the Alpe del Garda (big business and restaurant in the valley beginning of the tour: www.alpedelgarda.it)) enjoy and from there it is not far to the apex of the tour: the Tremalzotunnel. From here a magnificent descent begins on the old military road on here so typical gravel road - the music of Lake Garda. Caution Tremalzo, therefore, on the descent, in this way probably come to most bikers & nbsp. At Passo Nota about 1215hm then you have the choice: either a scenic and technically attractive alternative over the Corna Vecchia Vesio that are earned with a few extra meters of altitude must (see description in the latest issue of Lagobiker : www.lagobiker.it) , or as in my case at nervendem continuous rain and about 8 ° C, the rapid variation on a well-paved road (no traffic) to the Val del Bondo and from there to the starting point. All in all one of the easiest ways to beat the Tremalzo because it saves about 450hm in pared to the classical variants of Riva and Limone. In addition, one arrives at the driveway opposite hardly anyone and there is no sliding or carrying required. Who does not live (as I said, it's worth it!) In Sompriezzo can drive directly at the Alpe del Garda park (at Vesio) and start the Valle San Michele from there. Nice tour with partly spectacular views - but unfortunately with my now third Tremalzotrip always shit weather from about 1400hm. Therefore, perhaps best taste in midsummer! PS: On the last 10km, the GPS has not measured the amount properly due to the heavy rain. Therefore, the difference between the gfahrenen height in meters up and down, although of course the tour ends at the starting point again.
