Abfahrt vom Parkplatz Brunnwinkl bei St. Gilgen. Von dort führt das erste Stück auf der Straße vorbei am Krottensee richtung Scharfling. Kurz vor Scharfling rechts in die Forststraße richtung Eisenau einbiegen. (Für gewöhnlich ist die Einfahrt gut an parkenden Autos (links und rechts) zu erkennen.) Auffahrt über die Forststraße bis zur Eisenaueralm. Das letzte Stück muss vermutlich geschoben werden! Hier endet der erste Anstieg der Strecke! Von der Eisenaueralm geht es nun über die Forststraße runter richtung Schwarzensee. Der Forststraße entlang bis zur Abzweigung "Zur LORE". Dem Schild folgend geht es dem Schwarzensee entlang bis zum Gasthaus "LORE". (Auch Links vom Schwarzensee wäre eine Variante.) Weiter am Seeufer entlang und ein kleines Stück bergauf geht es weiter bis zum Parkplatz am Ende der Schwarzenseestraße. Vom Parkplatz geht es nun steil die Schwarzenseestraße runter richtung Russbach. Der Straße folgend durch Russbach fahren. Geradeaus über die nächste Kreuzung. Ein kurzes Stück der Straße folgend nun rechts der Markierungen für den Radweg richtung Strobl der Beschilderung folgen. Kurz vor Strobl endet der Radweg und es geht auf der Straße durch Strobl. Auf der rechten Seite folgt bald der Radweg richtung Abersee/Brunn. Den Radweg bis Abersee folgen. Nun ein kurzes Stück auf der Straße durch Abersee richtung Brunn fahren. Bei Brunn beginnt nun die Auffahrt zur Illingeralm. Die Auffahrt ist durch einen Schranken (Mautstraße) gut erkennbar. Hier beginnt nun der eigentliche Anstieg der Strecke. Krafteinteilung bis hier ist also empfehlenswert! Steil bergauf der Mautstraße folgend, richtung Illingeralm. Bald schon wird aus der Straße eine Forststraße. Hier den Schildern richtung Illingeralm folgen. Bei der Illingeralm geht es nun weiter bergauf der Beschilderung richtung "Pillsteinhöhe/12erHorn" folgend weiter. (Grober Schotter erschwärt den Anstieg zusätzlich!) Auf der Pillsteinhöhe angekommen geht es nun weiter auf den 12erHorn Rundwanderweg/Forststraße richtung 12erHorn Bergstation. (Die Bergstation vom 12erHorn könnte auch ausgelassen werden da die Abfahrt dann wieder über die Forstsraße richtung Parkplatz Sausteigalm/Bartl Hütte zurückführt). An der Bergstation 12erHorn angekommen wird der lange Aufstieg durch einen wunderbaren Ausblick belohnt. Nun folgt die Abfahrt zurück über die Forststraße bis zum 12erHorn Rundwanderweg. Nun rechts der Forststraße richtung Sausteigalm/Bartl Hütte Parkplatz folgen. Beim Parkplatz die Forststraße verlassen und dem Weg richtung Sausteigalm/Bartl Hütte folgen. Über einen kurzen Anstieg vorbei an der Bartl Hütte bis zur Sausteigalm. Abfahrt von der Sausteigalm über die SKIPISTE runter nach St. Gilgen!!!! Für diese Abfahrt sind gute Bremsen voraussetzung. Und ein FULLY von Vorteil ;-)! Als Alternative gibt es die Variante zurück über die Illinger-Mautstraße (Beschilderung kurz unterhalb der Sausteigalm folgen) zurück nach Brunn und über den Radweg nach St. Gilgen. Durch St. Gilgen geht es nun zurück zum Parkplatz Brunnwinkl.

Departure from the Parking Brunnwinkl in St. Gilgen. From there, , the first piece of the road past at Krottensee direction Scharfling. Turn right just before Scharfling in the forest road direction Eisenau. (Usually the entrance is clearly visible in parked cars (left and right).) Driveway along the forest road to the Eisenaueralm. The final piece must probably be pushed Here ends the first increase in the distance! From now Eisenaueralm it goes through the forest road down direction Schwarzensee. Along the forest road to the junction " For LORE & quot ;. Following the plate it goes along the Schwarzensee to Gasthaus " LORE & quot ;. (Even links from Schwarzensee would be a variant.) Continue along the lake and a small piece it goes uphill to the parking lot at the end of the black lake road. From the car park it is now steep the black lake road down direction Russ Bach. Shortly before Strobl ends of the bike path and it goes on the road by Strobl. On the right side soon follows the bike path direction Abersee / Brunn. Follow the bike path until Abersee. Now a short distance on the road by Abersee direction Brunn drive. In Brunn now the driveway begins to Illingeralm. The driveway is easily recognizable by a barrier (toll road). Here begins the actual increase in the distance. Power division until here is therefore recommended! Steep uphill road toll following, direction Illingeralm. Soon a forest road from the road. Here follow the signs direction Illingeralm. When Illingeralm comes next uphill direction signs " Pillsteinhöhe / 12 Horn " Following further. (Coarse gravel erschwärt the increase in addition!) On the Pillsteinhöhe arrived to go from here on the 12 Horn loop trail / forest road direction 12 Horn mountain station. (The hill station of 12 Horn could also be omitted since the departure of then back via the device Forstsraße Parking Sausteigalm / Bartlhütte). The long climb will be arrived at the mountain station 12 Horn rewarded by a magnificent view. Now the descent follows back along the forest road until 12 Horn Loop Trail. Now follow the forest road right direction Sausteigalm / Bartlhütte Parking. From the parking lot to leave the forest road and their way to being Sausteigalm / Bartlhütte follow. Over a short climb past the Bartlhütte to Sausteigalm. Departure from the Sausteigalm on SKIING down to St. Gilgen !!!! For this descent are good brakes requirement. And a FULLY advantageous;-)! Alternatively, there is the variant back on the Illingerstraße toll road (signposted just below the Sausteigalm follow) back to Brunn and the cycling path to St. Gilgen. By St. Gilgen it's now back to the parking Brunnwinkl.
