Trail Description

The tour is similar to my Tour # 36485, only the driveway to the forester's house Aurora is a lot easier. From the parking lot right across the bridge, then turn into the first road immediately on the left. From best to follow the GPS here. It's on forest roads first flat, then with moderate gradient (6-9%) uphill, after about 8.5 km you will reach the forester's house Aurora. Arriving at the forest house follow through the gate, then immediately left take the forest path and through the monastery dome always the hiking sign red circle is 2.5km reached after the New Town Gate. Go straight down the dirt road, after about 50m turn right into the forest path and then always follow the hiking sign red slash. After about 3.5km you reach a tarmac road, verge left and continue to follow the hiking sign red slash is reached after 2.5 km the most beautiful trail descent Hafenlohr the valley road. Turn on this left, you reach 1km alder ford. Turn right before the house, cross the Hafenlohr-Bach, keep after about 200m turn right. This path goes about 1.6km in a forest road where you turn sharp left, (the next 4km is uphill to High Knuck, best follow the GPS) after about 400m keep left, after 400m straight, after 500m straight, follow after 100m right at the fork, then for about 1km to the main path, then keep left at the fork, after a further 1.2km is to reach the top (right is a bench to rest). At the junction turn left, always follow the hiking sign red triangle, only on gravel then on beautiful wooded trails and also a crossing gate is around 6km the inn Karlshöhe. At the guest house on the dirt road right past, at the next intersection, turn right, stop briefly then left and follow the hiking sign red triangle on. This beautiful trail leads downhill after about 2km in a forest road, turn left, after a further 1.7km you will find a dirt, keep left, after 200m is a gate, then right is a parking lot. Here turn left, after 200m you will reach the New Cart mill, continue proceed straight, keep after 500m at a crossroads on the left and then go straight to the point.
