Trail Description

The tour starts at the castle in Bendorf Sayn. This is only a bit on edge of village along. Then there comes the turn-off in a forest. The path here looks more like a trail. But fun. Little exercise with your bike but you should already have, bit difficult for absolute novice, I think. Caution in kurzbehosten legs, the way line countless stinging nettle plants. After about 6 km you must not be surprised you when you lead your GPS suddenly over a green meadow and it looks as if the way to the end. Just follow the stubborn Navi. The route then after a few hundred meters too soon in the forest. Shortly before BTA then it goes deep into a gorge, here is the GPS signal just lost my Garmin. Ride then just follow the signs direction BTA / Castle after, then you will find the path again. In BTA, it then goes back uphill Richung the castle. We have in place first indulged in the inn BTA a cyclist, I can only recommend as a tonic, because here we go uphill a bit steeper. Once at the top you can, when you arrive 11:00 to 13:00 there, visit the castle. The rest of the trail is almost all downhill down into Brexbachtal by the scout camp. Caution in the summer, in the holidays, public holidays and weekends, then here are the scouts wrong. Drive slowly and carefully through the camp. Shortly after the camp you come then again to the starting point. One more tip for last: ride the Tour not when it rained day before. (Unless of course you stand on the ankle deep mud) Note: I would be delighted if you could write a comment how you liked the tour.
