Dies ist die Tour, auf der ich mich mit dem "Virus" Mountainbike infiziert habe. Ein kleine, aber feine Runde mit allem was eine Mountainbike Tour braucht (rasante Abfahrten, knifflige Steigungen, Singeltrails u.s.w). Damals waren noch Touren über 1000hm absolut utopisch und die Alpen eine andere ferne Welt :o) Die Tour startet wie so oft an der Zornigen Ameise und führt uns durch die Wälder des Essener Südens. Wir fahren bergauf durch den Schellenberger Wald bis zum gleichnamigen Jagdhaus. Nun folgt eine geniale Abfahrt hinab zum Baldeneysee. Diesen verlassen wir aber kurze Zeit später auch schon wieder um bergauf durch den Kruppwald Richtung Werden S-Bahnhof zu fahren. Nun geht es ein kurzes Stück die Ruhr entlang bevor wir durchs wunderschöne Wolfsbachtal nach Bredeney gelangen. Von dort aus geht es an der Schillerwiese vorbei zum Ausgangspunkt. FAZIT: ACHTUNG SUCHTGEFAHR ;o) Viel Spass beim nachfahren !!!

This is the tour that I am infected with the "virus" mountain bike. A small but nice round with everything a mountain bike tour needs (fast descents, tricky climbs, single trails, etc). Back then there were tours of 1000hm absolutely utopian and the Alps, another distant world: o) The tour starts as so often at the angry ant and takes us through the forests of the Essen South. We drive uphill through the forest to the Schellenberger same cabin. What follows is a fantastic descent down to Baldeney. This we leave but a short time later again to uphill drive through the forest towards becoming Krupp S-Bahn station. Now it is a short distance along the Ruhr before we get through beautiful Wolfsbachtal to Bredeney. From there it goes to the Schillerwiese past the starting point. CONCLUSION: WARNING ADDICTIVE: o) Have fun tracing !!!
