Die Auffahrt auf den Dobratsch erfolgt unproblematisch entlang guter Schotterwege. Die letzten paar HM haben wir über die Villacher Alpenstraße bis hin zum Parkplatz 6 (P6) mit dessen beindruckender Aussichtsplattform über der Roten Wand erklommen (Grand Canyon Skywalk lässt grüßen :-). Von dort aus haben wir die als "alles fahrbar" beworbene Abfahrt über den Jägersteig entlang der Roten Wand gewählt. Alles fahrbar war wohl etwas optimistich gemeint. Der Steig den wir mit unseren Bikes runterkletterten wird auch nur selten zu Fuß besucht ... Nach dem Durchwandern von ein paar Höhenmetern in Richtung Tal und wenigen befahrbaren Passagen kamen wir schlussendlich im Tal bei der 'Schüttalm' an, wo wir es uns wieder gut gehen ließen. Bei der Rückfahrt wählten wir noch einen Abstecher weg von der Schütt rauf in Richtung Burgruine Federaun. Die Abfahrt von diesem Hügel war schon eher nach unserem Geschmack.

The driveway on the Dobratsch done without problems along good gravel roads. The last couple of HM we have the Villach Alpine Road up to the parking 6 (P6) climbed with its leg-printing viewing platform above the red wall (Grand Canyon Skywalk Greetings:-). From there we have the as & quot; everything mobile & quot; chosen advertised departure on the hunting trail along the Red Wall. Everything was wheeled probably meant something optimistich. The trail is we down climbed with our bikes also visited rarely walk ... After wandering through a few meters of altitude in the valley and few navigable passages we were finally in the valley at the 'Schüttalm', where we well meet again let them go. On the way back we chose a detour away from the bulk up towards the castle ruins Federaun. The descent of this hill was rather to our liking.
