From Santa Cruz, it goes along the coast to the actual start of the tour. This leads across the Anaga mountains in the north-east of Tenerife. On the outskirts of the coastal village of San Andres it goes slowly over asphalt about 9 km to the viewpoint "El Bailadero" to 700 hm with a beautiful view of the green north side of the Anaga Mountains to the coast. From here we follow the ridge further 9 km (100 hm). Now we turn to a forest road 2 km easily repaired (slippery, moss). From the vantage point "Cabezo del Tejo" starts a very demanding trail in the direction of "El Draguillo". The upper part is strongly interlocked and without damp moss barely mobile. Then it will be less steep, but the narrow path is overgrown with thorns. The last 200 hm to the coast carry on slope and asphalt directly along the coast. The scenic location "Taganana" starts an increase of 600 hm after it with its beautiful beach is back on familiar route to San Andres. Technology is rated "2" because, in my view, the trail is not already mobile.
