Rund um die Kösseine, schöne Feldwege führen von Wunsiedel (Dronco) über Sichersreuth nach Bad Alexandersbad und Kleinwendern. Von Kleinwendern aus fährt man Richtung Schurbach, kurz vor Schurbach jedoch zweigt man rechts ab einen leichten Anstieg hinhauf, oberhalb des Steinbruches von Schurbach hat mein einen schönen Ausblick Richtung Steinwald, weiter an einem kleinen Brunnen vorbei. Sobald man den Fußweg von Schurbach auf die Kösseine kreuzt zweigt man rechts ab und nimmt diesen teilweise steilen Part bis man auf die Ringstraße der Kösseine trifft. Wiederrum rechts auf die Ringstraße geht es die letzten 600m bis zum Kösseinehaus an der Bergwachthütte vorbei. Am Turm hat man einen Wunderschönen Rundumblick vom Fichtelgebirge rüber in den Steinwald. Die Abfahrt über die Ringstraße zur Luisenburg ist weniger spektakulär ist aber eine willkommene Entschädigung für den langen Aufstieg. Ab der Luisenburg geht´s am Radweg runter nach Wunsiedel, gerade aus zur Schlachthausbrücke und von dort rechts Richtung Greifvogelark. Unterhalb des Katharinenberges biegt man nicht in die Kellergasse sondern fährt geradeaus weiter die "Rutschel" entlang und fährt etwa 1,5km Single Trail bis man wieder oberhalb der Dronco aus dem Wald kommt.

Around the Kösseine, beautiful dirt roads lead from Wunsiedel (Dronco) on freezing Reuth to Bad Alexandersbad and Kleinwendern. From Kleinwendern one drives towards Schurenbach, shortly before Schurenbach however, turn right hinhauf from a slight increase above the quarry of my Schurenbach has a beautiful view towards the Stone Forest, further to a small fountain over. Once you cross the footpath of Schurenbach on the Kösseine you turn right and take this sometimes steep part until you come to the ring road of Kösseine. In turn right onto the ring road and walk the last 600m to Kösseinehaus past the mountain rescue hut. At the tower you have a Beautiful panoramic view from the Fichtelgebirge over to the Stone Forest. The descent via the ring road to the castle is Luis but less spectacular is a welcome compensation for the long climb. From the Luisenburg all starts on bike path down to Wunsiedel, straight from the slaughterhouse bridge and then turn right towards Greifvogelark. Below the St. Catherine mountain, turn not in the cellar lane but continue straight ahead the "Rutschel" along and runs about 1.5km single track until we were above the Dronco from the forest comes.
