Variante der hier schon mehrmals vorhandenen großen Karwendelrunde. Bis zum Karwendelhaus und der Abfahrt nach Hinterriß ist die Tour mit der klassischen Karwendelrunde identisch. Ab Hinterriß holt diese Runde dann weiter Richtung Osten aus. Der Start der Tour liegt in etwa in der Mitte der Wallgau-Mautstraße. Ab hier gemütliches Warmfahren über den Isar-Radweg durch Wallgau und Krün nach Mittenwald. Durchs Karwendeltal Auffahrt zum Karwendelhaus und zum Jochkreuz. Nach der Abfahrt vom Jochkreuz folgt man der Teerstraße weiter nach Süden bis zum Abzweig Plumsjochstraße am Großen Ahormboden. Auf moderater Steigung geht es ca. 500hm bis zum Plumsjoch. Nach Einkehr in der Plumsjoch-Hütte führt eine sehr steile Abfahrt Richtung Pertisau, der man bis zur Garn-Alm folgt. Nach wenigen Metern auf Asphalt fährt man in das Bachbett ein und folgt den Wegweisern Richtung Schleimssattel. Können die beiden ersten Anstiege zum Karwendelhaus und zum Plumsjoch ohne weiteres als einfach bezeichnet werden, so erwartet einen mit dem Anstieg auf den 1550m hohen Schleimssattel zum Schluß noch mal eine echte Herausforderung. Konstant heftige Steigungsraten mit Spitzen bis über 25% saugen die letzten Körner aus den Beinen. Ab dem Sattel geht es dann über einen Singletrail (hier je nach Witterung und Fahrkönnen einige Schiebepassagen) und später auf Schotter vorbei an der Mantschenalm hinunter Richtung Fall. An der Jausenstation Aquila (Beginn Asphaltstraße) überquert man die Grenze nach Bayern. Von Fall radelt man dann entlang des Sylvenstein-Stausees zurück zum Start der Tour. Achtung: Die Straße auf den Schleimsattel und die anschliessende Abfahrt ist für Biker eigentlich gesperrt. "Schieben" darf man aber immer. Ist man erst übers Plumsjoch gefahren, bleibt ohnehin keine Alternative für die Rückkehr nach Fall.

From the saddle, it then goes through a single trail down past (here depending on weather and driving skills shift some passages) and later on gravel at the direction Mantschenalm case. At the snack station Aquila (beginning asphalt road), cross the border to Bavaria. From the case then you will cycle along the Sylvenstein reservoir back to the start of the tour. Caution: The road to slime saddle and the subsequent departure is actually closed to bikers. & Quot; Slide & quot; but we must always. If you run only over Plumsjoch, anyway remains no alternative for the return to the case.
