Die Tour führt über die schönsten Aussichtspunkte am Gibacht, weiter zum Cerchov, vorbei an Pec wieder zurück nach Furth. Ausgangspunkt der Tour ist das Tagungszentrum in Furth im Wald. Der erste Streckenteil bis zum Glaskreuz am Reiseck, entspricht im Wesentlichen der Strecke vom 5. Gibacht Berglauf 2009. Man fährt vom Tagungszentrum Richtung Stadtplatz, den man auf dem Hinweg im Osten umfährt. Es geht weiter aus Furth heraus, am Kriegerdenkmal vorbei. Im weiteren Verlauf quert man die kalte Pastritz, kreuzt den Golfplatz und gelangt nach Voithenberg. Die Tour kreuzt dann mehrere Male die Skihänge bis man zunächst am Glaskreuz ankommt. Von hier geht es weiter über den Leuchtturm, zum Berggasthof Gibacht - hier gibts die erste Einkehrmöglichkeit. Dann geht es weiter zur höchsten Erhebung am Gibacht, dem Kreuzfelsen mit 938 m. Von hier aus gelangt man an den Grenzübergang Dreiwappen und folgt der Grenze auf einem schönen Trail. Schließlich verlässt man den Grenztrail wieder und gelangt bergab auf einen geschotterten Waldweg. Bald geht es dann wieder steil bergauf zum Grenzübergang Lehmgrubenweg. Von hier aus folgt man dem Cerchovsteig bis zum Gipfel. Bergab verläuft die Tour lange Zeit entlang dem grün gekennzeichneten Wanderweg, bis man die warme Pastritz auf einer kleinen Holzbrücke quert. Nun fährt man ein Stück entlang der warmen Pastritz, an Pec vorbei und schließlich über den Grenzübergang Schafberg wieder nach Furth im Wald zum Tagungszentrum.

The tour leads through the most beautiful vantage points on Gibacht continue to Cerchov, past Pec back to Furth. Starting point of the tour is the convention center in Furth im Wald. Soon it then goes back uphill to the border crossing Lehmgrubenweg. From here you follow the Cerchovsteig to the summit. Downhill the tour runs for a long time along the green marked trail until you cross the warm Past Ritz on a small wooden bridge. Now you drive a piece along the warm Past Ritz, at Pec past and finally the border crossing mountain sheep back to Furth im Wald to the convention center.
