Eine typische Grenzland Tour - Zuerst Richtung Marktredwitz, dann Richtung Wölsauerhammer, dort geht es rechts den Berg hinauf. Über Konnersreuth, der Kappel geht es bei Neualbenreuth über die Grenze. Nach 5 Km kommt man in das Museumsdorf Taubrath (Doubrava) mit seinen Egerländer Fachwerkhäusern Der ganze Ort steht unter Denkmalschutz. In den letzten Jahren wurden fast alle Häuser restauriert. Besonders eindrucksvoll ist das Egerländer Fachwerk, das hier in voller Blüte zu sehen ist. Neben dem Pferdegestüt mit Araberhengsten ist besonders das Museum beim Wirtshaus Skanzen sehenswert. Heute befindet sich dort ein gemütliches Wirtshaus. An der Talsperre Jesenice entlang nach Eger und von dort aus nach Franzenbad, der Kurort wurde im J. 1793 gegründet, die Architektur des Kurorts ist im Stile des Empire und des Klassizismus.Der kleine "Franzl" ist das Symbol von Franzensbad. Das Bad nutzt die reichen Lagerstättenvon Eisensulfatmoor und Naturgasquellen. Von hier aus sind es nur 20 Km bis nach Thiersheim
