Von Oberwerth geht es über die Rheinbrücke Richtung Bendorf. Uf dem Fußweg zur Festung Ehrenbreitstein werden die ersten richtigen Höhenmeter gesammelt. Den Ausblick auf das Rhein- und Moseltal sollte man sich auf jeden Fall gönnen. Es lohnt sich. Danach geht es weiter zur Schmittenhöhe, dem ehemaligen??? Truppenübungsplatz vor den Toren von Koblenz. Ein tolles Gelände für Jogger und Fahrradfahrer.

From Oberwerth it goes over the Rhine bridge to Bendorf. Uf the Footpath to the fortress Ehrenbreitstein collected the first real altitude. The views of the Rhine and Moselle valley you should treat yourself anyway. Worth it. Then it's on to Schmitt height, the former ??? Military training area on the outskirts of Koblenz. A great site for joggers and cyclists.
