Der Monte Stivo (2.059m), neben Altissimo und Tremalzo einer der drei größeren Gipfel am oberen Gardasee, bietet neben knackigen Anstiegen belohnende Trialabfahrten und weite Lagoblicke. Tourenstart ist zwischen Kreisverkehr und Wind’s Bar in Torbole. Über den kleinen Platz beim Hotel Centrale geht es auf der alten Auffahrt nach Nago. Nach Überquerung der Hauptstraße schrauben wir uns auf Asphalt 600 Hm den Hang empor. Nach den ersten beiden Kehren wird es etwas flacher. Bei der Steinmauer links abbiegen, dem Pfad in den Wald folgen, und bei der Weggabelung rechts auf dem Weg hinauf bis Santa Barbara halten. Ein kleiner Brunnen bietet in Santa Barbara die Möglichkeit, die Wasserreserven für die Gipfeletappe zu ergänzen. An Grillplätzen vorbei, beginnt der letzte Aufstieg auf die Malga Stivo. Vom höchsten Punkt an, ca. 300Hm unter dem Rifugio Machetti, quert man den Wiesen- Latschenhang bis zum Beginn der Abfahrt. Nach der ersten Trialabfahrt durch den Wald, fliegt man nun auf Schotter runter zum Einstieg in die Pianaura Trials. Ordentlich durchgerüttelt geht's durch die Gassen von San Martino nach Arco und über den Radweg zurück nach Torbole.
