Viel Aussichtspunkte eine Menge Trails und gelegentlich breite Schotterstraßen. Wer die Aussicht über Jena geniesen will und dennoch nicht auf einen langen Trail verzichten möchte, ist mit dieser Tour bestens beraten. Der erste Anstieg verläuft auf einen breiten Forstweg welcher kurz vorm Fuchsturm in ein schmalen Waldweg übergeht. Über das Steinkreuz und Kernbergplateau geht es dann auf den Trail dieser Tour. Auf der oberen Horizontalen, entlang der vielen Aussichtspunkte, kommt es den Biker dann vor wie auf einer Achterbahn. Viele Kurven, verwurzelte Wege und ein ständiges auf und ab. Am Fürstenbrunnen angekommt, fährt man das Pennickental hinauf auf den Thüringenweg und folgt diesen (weis-blau-weis) bis zum Aussichtpunkt Lobdeburg. Wer will kann hier die paar Stufen abwärts steigen und im Gasthaus einkehren. Von der Lobdeburg geht es auf Wald- und Schotterwegen zur Sommerlinde. Dort nimmt man einen kleinen, parallel zum Thüringenweg verlaufenden Trail in Richtung Burg Rabis mit. Von der Burg Rabis geht es auf breiten Schotterwegen in Richtung Steinkreuz. Hier wartet der abschließende schön geschwungene, welligen und mit einigen Anliegern versehenen Downhill. Viel Spaß!

Much viewpoints a lot of trails and occasionally wide gravel roads. Who wants to enjoy the views of Jena and yet not want to miss out on a long trail, is well advised with this tour. The first climb runs on a wide forest track which shortly before Fuchsturm in a narrow forest path passes. Then the stone cross and core Plateau it goes on the trail of this tour. On the upper horizontal, along the many scenic spots, it is the Biker then before like on a roller coaster. Many curves, rooted up and down paths and a constant. On Prince fountain is coming, you drive the Pennickental up on the Thüringenweg and follows this (pointing-blue-facing) to the viewpoint Lobdeburg. Anyone who wants to can here the few steps descend the stairs and stop at the inn. From the Lobdeburg it comes to forest and gravel paths for summer Linde. There you can participate with a small, parallel to Thüringenweg running trail in the direction of Castle Rabi. From the castle Rabi it goes on wide gravel paths towards Stone Cross. Here is waiting the final beautifully curved, wavy and provided with some residents downhill. Have fun!
