Die Tour verläuft zum großen Teil auf der Wasserscheide zwischen Elbe und Donau über den Kamm des Böhmerwaldes. Der Hinweg verläuft unterhalb des Kammes auf einer geteerten Forststrasse. Die Wegequalität auf dem Kamm wechselt sehr stark: von traumhaften Single-Trails bis zum ausgefahrenen Waldwirtschaftsweg. Man sollte die Tour nur unternehmen, wenn es ein paar Tage lang nicht geregnet hat, da sonst der Kammweg nicht so gut zu befahren ist. Einer der Höhepunkte der Tour ist die Burgruine Hirschstein, von der man eine fantastische Aussicht auf das Umland hat. Start der Tour ist auf dem Parkplatz direkt an der Strasse nahe des Denkmals von J.Š.Baara. Von hier geht es ein Stück parallel zur Autostraße bis man bei Capartice nach Norden abbiegt und nach kurzer Zeit auf einen getterten Waldweg trifft. Im weiteren Verlauf trifft man auf ein kurzes Stück einer Autostrasse bis es darauf wieder auf einen geschotterten Waldweg geht, der sich in Richtung Hirschstein zum Single-Trail verengt. Ein Aufstieg zur Ruine lohnt sich wegen der Aussicht auf jeden Fall. Der Weg von der Ruine zur Strasse, die überquert werden muss ist ziemlich verblockt, daher die Wertung 5 für die Technik. Nnun folgt man immer dem roten und zum Schluss dem gelben Wanderweg bis man wieder am Parkplatz angekommen ist. Zwischendurch hat man am Skilift noch einmal eine sehr gute Aussicht.
