The starting coordinates are: N 52.42.391 / E 4.41.344. The route is constructed in 1996 along the most beautiful places in the dunes. If you start in the south-eastern corner of the Schoorl Dunes you should first go through the dark pine forests. The route has a lot of elevation changes. After the forest you come to the open dune. To admire this vast landscape, you must first climb the Black Blink. Above this vantage point, you have a beautiful view. In August and early September, you can enjoy the purple flowering heaths. The route continues through the woods. You'll drive right by the sea and the new nature area De Kerf. The route continues here through the woods to the highest point of the route: The Schoorlse Nok. This is one of the highest dunes of Schoorl, and even the Netherlands. You stand over 48 meters above sea level. Even for the experienced biker is this climb quite abandon. The route is about 560 meters over the normal cycle (you are here "just" cyclist, adjust your speed thus thereon, on the circumstances). You then leave the mountain bike route around the forest reserve, which is here not to disturb.
