Auf dieser Tour hat man herrliche Ausblicke vom Burgstall sowie vom Ahornriegel. Trail-Liebhaber kommen auf der ersten Hälfte der Runde auf ihre Kosten. Die Tour startet am Parkplatz rechts des Diensthüttenweges kurz nach Hinterlichteneck. Zunächst auf dem "Grenzweg" entlang, zuerst relativ eben und dann immer steiler werdend. Dann Übergang auf einen Weg mit rauem Untergrund - trailartig. Bei km 7.3 ca. 0,8 km langer downhill-Trail, teilweise verblockt und mit bis zu 35% Gefälle. Auf der Strasse bis zur Talstation des Skiliftes, dann über Wanderweg bis zur Diensthütte Hoherbogen. Auf schmaler Teerstrasse bis zum Burgstall (Fernsehsender des BR). Wieder zurück zur Diensthütte und weiter zu den beiden "Nato-Türmen". Das letzte Stück ca. 150m muss geschoben werden. Auf geteertem Weg weiter zum Ahornriegel (Bergstation des Skiliftes). Ein Stück die Skipiste hinab - Abstecher zum Haus Schönblick mit Panoramaterasse. Von dort wieder Richtung "Grenzweg" bzw. parallel dazu bis man wieder am Parkplatz ankommt.
