Start ist im Mülheim-Kärlicher Gewerbegeiet. Über Urmitz und der Eisenbahnbrücke geht es durch die Gemarkung zum Neuwieder Zoo ( hier 2. Startmöglichkeit, ca. 20 KM weniger). Von hier aus fahren wir ein Stück den Rheinsteig, um über die Zufahrt zum Golfclub Neuwied, den in der Nähe gelegenen Wanderparkplatz zu erreichen. Über einen herrlichen Waldweg fahren wir zur Jahn´s Eiche. Von hier aus geht es nur bergab bis in das Sayntal. Im Tal überqueren wir die Sayn und die B413. Dem Waldweg folgen wir bis zu einer Siedlung und direkt dahinter biegen wir links ab Richtung Stromberg. In Stromberg folgen wir der L306 in Nordöstlicher Richtung. Kurz vor Ortsende biegen wir rechts ab auf den Saynsteig, folgen diesem nur kurz, um dann in das Brexbachtal hinunter zu "fliegen". Vorbei an der Abtei und dann zum Schloß Sayn. In dieser Strasse liegt auf der rechten Seite das Café "Kleudgen". Wer Lust auf Kaffee und Kuchen hat,ist hier besten bedient ( Kuchenstücke wie bei Muttern daheim zu wirklich zivilen Preisen). Den Schloßpark umfahren wir, da hier nur das Schieben von Rädern erlaubt ist und die Ordnungshüter gnadenlos "zuschlagen". Über den Rheinsteig erreichen wir dann wieder den Zoo um dann die Heimreise anzutreten.

From here we drive a piece of the Rhine climb to reach the nearby trail parking lot via the entrance to the Golf Club Neuwied. We drive over a beautiful forest path to Jahn & acute s oak. From here it's all downhill until the Sayntal. In the valley we cross the Sayn and the B413. The forest path we follow & nbsp; until a settlement and directly behind it we turn left towards Stromberg. In Stromberg we follow the L306 & nbsp; in northeastern direction. Shortly before the end of town, turn right onto Saynsteig, follow this only briefly, and then in the Brexbachtal down to & quot; fly & quot ;. Past the Abbey and then to the Castle Sayn. In this street is on the right side of the café & quot; Kleudgen & quot ;. Who Lust & nbsp; coffee and cake has, here is best served (cake pieces like nuts at home at really reasonable prices).
