Startplatz: Parkplatz der Sportanlage in Arnsberg an der Altmühl Alternative Startplätze und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten Schambachtal „Gasthof Zur Linde“ (www.zur-linde-schambachtal.de Böhming „Gasthof Römer-Castell“ (www.roemer-castell.de) Kinding (Ausfahrt Altmühltal) Parkplatz an der Altmühl Campingplatz Kratzmühle (www.kratzmühle.de) Beilngries (www.beilngries.de) Vom Startplatz über die in Ortsmitte Arnsberg und beim Gasthof „Zum Raben“ am großen Holzwegweiser dem Pfad bergauf folgen. Oben am flachen Teil des Trails links auf den Panoramaweg am Hang entlang diesem folgen. Gigantische Ausblicke auf das Altmühltal zwischen Pfünz und Böhming. Dem Panoramaweg/Schmetterlingsweg am Hang und dann bergab bis nach Böhming. Am Gasthof „Römer-Castell“ vorbei und die Altmühl überqueren. Nach der Brücke zuerst links auf den Radweg und dann gleich am Marterl (Rastplatz) scharf bergauf (Alte Fahrstraße zur früheren Drachenschanze). Oben am Wegedreick angekommen den rechten Weg kurz bergauf folgen. Abzweig zur Ausblick nehmen und den Blick von der anderen Seite Richtung Burg Arnsberg genießen. Dann dem Schotterweg am später am Limes entlang folgen bis man am Limes-Wachturm mündet. Diesen kann man besteigen und sich kurz in die Römerzeit einfühlen. Dann dem Weg weiter bergab (Achtung Wanderer!) bis man an der Fahrstraße Kipfenberg-Pfahldorf mündet. Dieser kurz bergauf am Schwimmbad vorbei folgen und dann nach Ortsende rechts auf den Pfad abbiegen. Dieser wird später zum Trail und mündet an der alten Fahrstraße Grösdorf-Pfahldorf . Man folgt dieser geteerten Straße bergauf und biegt rechts beim Waldhaus auf den linken Schotterweg Richtung Enkering ein. Diesem Schotterweg nun sehr lange folgen und dann bergauf zum Gipfelkreuz bei Enkering fahren. Am Gipfelkreuz hat man einen tollen Blick auf Enkering, gegenüber die Rumburg und auf das unberührte, malerische Anlautertal. Wieder den gleichen Weg kurz bergab und scharf links auf den beschilderten Pfad abbiegen. Diesem talwärts folgen, man mündet an einer Fahrstraße Richtung Kinding und folgt bis zur Ortsmitte Kinding. Dann über die Altmühlbrücke und kurz danach am Parkplatz dem Weg bergauf bis zum Marterl am Waldrand folgen. Jetzt nicht den geteerten Weg links (außer es ist glitschig) nehmen, sondern dem Hohlweg scharf bergauf folgen. Oben angekommen den Waldweg Richtung Felsentor folgen. Am Felsentor angelangt dem Trail bergab (Achtung Wanderer haben eindeutig Vorrang, absteigen!) und dann in den Ort Unteremmendorf . Jetzt rechts hoch der nur kurz geteerten Fahrstraße nach Oberemmendorf folgen. Oben angekommen Richtung Oberemmendorf und dann am Ortsanfang gleich wieder scharf links auf den Forstweg in Richtung Wald abzweigen. Am der Weggabelung links halten. Man passiert einen schönen Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus man Schloss Hirschberg schon sehen kann und einen tollen Blick von oben auf die Altmühl hat. Den Hohlweg nun weiter bergab und am Waldrand Richtung Ortsmitte Beilngries. Durch den Ort Beilngries Richtung Schloss Hirschberg und diesem Weg kurz bergauf folgen, beim Brauereimuseum links auf die Fahrstraße durch die Häuser abbiegen. Man folgt diesem Weg kurz und mündet an einem Weg, später Pfad der sich bis Pfraundorf am Hang entlang schlängelt und in Pfraundorf an der Hauptstraße Kinding-Beilngries endet. Jetzt sieht man schon das Naherholungsgebiet Kratzmühle/Pfraundorfer See mit Technik-Museum, Campinplatz, Minigolf und Badesee. Hier am Parkplatz gleich wieder rechts auf den Weg und kurz am Badesee entlang. Diesem Weg jetzt sehr lange im Talgrund und später leicht bergauf am Hang entlang folgen. Alternativ bis Kinding den Radweg benützen. Man mündet nun wieder am Waldrand in Kinding am Marterl und folgt nun dem zunächst geteertem Weg lange bergauf bis man an der Fahrstraße Irlahüll-Grösdorf endet. Nun unter der Brück und dann gleich nach dieser scharf links auf den Schotterweg und dann über den zweiten Teil der Autobahn (A9 Kindinger Berg). Nach längerem eine weitere Fahrstraße (Kipfenberg-Irlahüll) überqueren und diesem Weg links haltend folgen bis man an der Fahrstrasse (Kipfenberg-Gelbelsee) mündet, die vom Mittelpunkt Bayerns kommt. Dieser Straße kurz bergauf folgen bis rechts (Wegpunkt+Markierung Baum) ein Trail in den Wald führt. Diesem scharf rechts durch den Wald folgen. Es folgt eine der schönsten Abfahrten dieser Gegend. Nun bis zum Schotterweg und diesen überqueren und wieder dem Trail am Hang uns später bergab bis zum Birktal folgen. Achtung! Man mündet direkt an der Fahrstraße zwischen Denkendorf und Kipfenberg und folgt dieser bis zum Ortsausgang. Bei der Wasserdurchquerung entweder diese oder das kleine Brückchen links benützen und an den Forellenteichen am Waldrand entlang fahren. Den Weg am Waldrand entlang bis zum Schotterweg steil bergauf. Diesem kurz bergauf folgen und dann in den Trail „Husarensteig“ einbiegen. Diesem Trail (Achtung! Hängt und Planken sind rutschig) folgen. Nach dem ersten Teil des Trails über die Forststraße und in den zweiten Teil des Steigs einfahren. Bei Trailende den Schotterweg kurz bergauf , dann links halten und am Wiesengrund (alles beschildert) scharf rechts Richtung Arndthöhle (Taschenlampe) abbiegen. Am Waldrand Richtung Attenzell halten und am Ortsende (Richtung Schambach) links in den Forstweg einbiegen. (Alternativ für Tourende die Fahrstraße bergab Richtung Schambach nutzen). Im Schambachtal angekommen kurz links die Fahrstraße dann rechts am Parkplatz über die alte Brücke in den Trail abbiegen. Dem Pfad am Hang folgen und am Waldrand dem Schotterweg bergauf nehmen. Diesem nun sehr lange zunächst bergauf, dann bergab folgen. Nach Abfahrt auf Forstwegen ins Schambachtal fährt man Richtung Ortsmitte über die kleine Brücke und mündet am „Gasthof Zur Linde“. Von dort aus über die Fahrstraße Richtung Arnsberg dem Radweg folgend ausrollen. Nun überquert man die Altmühl und ist wieder am Parkplatz der Sportanlage Arnsberg. Then follow the path uphill through the Altmühltherme bridge and shortly thereafter in the parking lot to the shrine on the edge. Follow the path short and ends in a way, later path which winds its way up Pfraundorf along the slope and ends in Pfraundorf on the main road Kinding-Beilngries. Now you can already see the recreation area Kratzmühle / Pfraundorfer lake with Technology Museum, campsite, mini golf and lake. Here on the right again on the way and just at the lake along parking. It now opens again at the forest edge in Kinding the wayside and now follows the first tarred road uphill until you long at driveway Irlahüll-Grösdorf ends. Now under the bridge and then right after this sharp left onto the dirt road and then on the second part of the motorway (A9 child Inger Berg). After some time another route (Kipfenberg-Irlahüll) cross and follow this road keeping left until one of the driving road (Kipfenberg-Gelbelsee) opens, which comes from the heart of Bavaria. & Nbsp; This road just uphill until you reach the right (waypoint marker + tree) a trail in the woods leads. This sharp right and follow through the woods. It follows one of the most beautiful slopes of the area. Now to the dirt road and cross this and head downhill again later follow the trail on the hillside us to Birktal. Watch out! It leads directly to the driveway between Denkendorf and Kipfenberg and follow this until the end. & Nbsp; When water crossing either this or the little Brückchen use left and continue along the trout ponds at the edge of the forest.
