Eine anspruchsvolle Radtour hat uns diesmal durchs Lahntal und in die Hügel des Wetzlarer Hinterlandes geführt. Von Dutenhofen aufbrechend ging es erst einmal hinunter ins Lahntal und durch die Lahnauen Richtung Lahnau Atzbach, dort kurz durch den Ort und dann landschaftlich Reizvoll am Schwalbenbach entlang. Dabei streift man Waldgirmes und bewegt sich über die L3286 die von Waldgirmes nach Biber führt imme weiter den Bach entlang. Bisher war der Weg wenig anstrengend, doch nun den Schwalbenbach verlassend geht es den Berg hinauf Richtung Blasbach. Hierbei fährt man durch Felder aber auch Waldgebiete. Oberhalb Blasbach sind wir dann am Sportplatz rechts hinunter in den Ort gefahren und an einer anderen Stelle wieder hoch, da wir im Ort Freunde besucht haben. Man kann aber auch am Sportplatz weiter gerade aus fahren, bis man wieder auf die Route trifft, den Radweg Richtung Wetzlar. Man bringt sich aber um eine steile Abfahrt und natürlich auch einen entsprechenden Anstieg. Weiter gehts nun Blasbach hinter uns lassend bergauf Richtung Wetzlar. An der A45 Brücke kann man kurz verweilen und die Aussicht genießen. Dann gehts entlang des Blasbacher Steinbruchs zur schönen Aussicht. Leider ist das Restaurant mittlerweile geschlossen, aber die schöne Aussicht Richtung Wetzlar und Naunheim ist geblieben. Abwärts nun Richtung Niedergirmes über steile teils asphaltierte Wege. In Niedergirmes durch den Ort hindurch Richtung Fischerhütte. Hier beim Griechen kann man kurz einkehren, eine Außenterasse direkt an der Lahn lädt dazu ein, Entlang der Lahn geht es nun zurück, vorbei an der Naunheimer Mühle, ebenfalls mit schöner Ausstenterasse and einem Lahnwehr, über Dorlar und dann entlang der B49 zurück Richtung Dutenhofen.
