Start der Tour ist in Furth im Wald / Grenzübergang Schafberg. Hier gibt es einen kleinen Parkplatz - oder man "reist" gleich mit dem Rad an. Die Tour eignet sich besonders fürs Frühjahr, wenn ab einer Höhe von 700 m bis 800 m eigentlich noch zuviel Schnee liegt zum Mountainbiken. Der Teerweg wird im Winter geräumt, da er als Auffahrt zum Cerchov dient und ist somit im Frühjahr deutlich früher schneefrei als für die Höhenlage üblich. Vom Wanderparkplatz ca. 300 m vor dem Grenzübergang geht es auf einem Teerweg in Richtung Grenze. Hier beginnt ein Forstweg. An der Kreuzung ca. 200 m nach der Grenze nehmen wir den mittleren Weg in den Wald hinein. Diesem Waldweg folgen wir bis nach Fichtenbach. Hier stossen wir auf einen Teerweg in den wir rechts einbiegen. In einer leichten Linkskurve fahren wir an einem Teich vorbei. Wir bleiben auf dem Teerweg und biegen ca. 500 m nach dem Teich rechts ab. Wir folgen dem Verlauf dieses Teerwegs bis zu km 6 und biegen hier links ab. Nun geht es auf einem Waldweg steil bergauf. Bei km 6.8 biegen wir rechts ab und kommen nach ca. 200 m am Böhmischen Brunnen vorbei. Wir treffen dann am Ende des Waldweges auf die "Horizontala" auf die wir nach links einbiegen. An der Kreuzung bei km 11 nach links abbiegen. Wir bleiben auf dem Teerweg und biegen bei km 14.4 erneut links ab und folgen dem Verlauf des Weges immer bergauf (bis auf eine kleine Senke) bis zum Gipfel. Am Gipfel besteht im Sommer Einkehrmöglichkeit. Zudem hat man vom Aussichtsturm eine wunderbare Sicht über das ganze Umland, ein Aufstieg lohnt sich allemal. Wir fahren den gleichen Weg zurück, den wir gekommen sind, verfolgen allerdings die "Horizontala" bis wir bei km 26.4 am tiefsten Punkt kurz vor einer Hauptstraße angekommen sind. Hier biegen wir in einen Wanderweg nach rechts ab. Wir folgen diesem Wanderweg, bis wir wieder auf den Weg treffen, der uns zurück zum Grenzübergang Schafberg führt.
