Die Tour startet auf dem Friedrichsberg in Bendorf-Sayn. Von dort aus geht es am Zoo Neuwied vorbei, hoch Richtung Schützenhaus Heimbach-Weiß. Von nun an folgt man einfach der Beschilderung des Rheinsteigs bis nach Rengsdorf (blaue quatratische Schilder mit weißem Weg). Der Rheinsteig führt in diesem Abschnitt durch den Wald entlang der Ortschaften Heimbach-Weiß, Gladbach und Oberbieber, geht dann hoch zum Haus am Pils, quert die Alteck und führt dann hinunter ins Aubachtal. Dort geht es dann wieder hoch zum Wingertsberg und von dort einen einfachen Trail bis nach Rengsdorf. Ein schöner Rastplatz ist der Aussichtspunkt Nonnenlai. Von Rengsdorf geht es hinunter ins Engelsbachtal, dann aber nicht zurück zum Stausee Oberbieber, sondern Richtung Braunsburg, der Weg führt einen erst Richtung Anhausen und dann zurück ins Aubachtal von dort ist es dann noch ein ziemlich steiler Anstieg hinauf zur Burgruine. Der Rückweg führt dann von der Burg über einen Asphaltweg zur B258 (Vorsicht beim Überqueren) und dann wahlweise über Asphalt oder Waldweg entlang des Limes zurück zum Zoo Neuwied (schöne Abfahrt).

From Rengsdorf it comes down to Engelsbachtal, then & nbsp; but not back to the reservoir Oberbieber, but the direction of Brown Castle, the trail leads a first direction Anhausen and then back to Aubachtal from there it is & nbsp; then a fairly steep climb up to the castle ruins. The return is then from the castle on an asphalt road to the B258 (be careful when crossing) and then either via road or forest road along the & nbsp; Limes back to the Zoo Neuwied (beautiful descent). & Nbsp;
