Hier mal eine nette Tour im bislang etwas schwach erfassten Nordharz. Los gehts beim Campingplatz in Thale. Nachdem wir den Ort verlassen haben, erwartet uns ein traumhafter Singletrail. Danach gehts dann hoch zur Rosstrappe. Ich bin die Strecke nach längerer trockener Witterung gefahren, sollte es feucht sein, könnte der Weg hoch zur Schlammschlacht werden. Oben genießen wir kurz den Ausblick über Thale und fahren sodann wieder hinab. Alternativ zu meiner Abfahrt gibt es auch noch eine ausgewiesene Downhillstrecke: Wer sich traut und das passende Material hat: Bitte... Unten im Tal ruft nun der Hexentanzplatz nach uns: Also wieder in die Pedale und den teilweise beschwerlichen Anstieg über den Wanderpfad hinauf. Den einen oder anderen Meter hab ich da getragen, ist manchmal schon etwas felsig aber grundsätzlich machbar. Von hier aus gehts nun wieder Richtung Georgshöhe hinab ins Tal durch den Ort zurück zum Startpunkt. Tip: Da Rosstrappe und Hexentanzplatz wahre Touristenhighlights in der Region sin, ist die Gegend dort an schönwettertage die dazu noch in die Ferienzeit oder Wochenendzeit fallen, sehr sehr voll. Dies sollte man bei Benutzung der Wege bedenken.

Here is a nice tour in so far little weak detected Nordharz. Here we go camping in the valley. After we left the place, a fantastic singletrack awaits us. After that, we go up to the Ross Trappe. I drove the route after prolonged dry weather, it should be moist, the way could be up to the mudslinging. Above we enjoy the short view over the valley and then go down again. Alternative to my departure, there is also a proven downhill track: Who dares and has the right material: Please ... Down in the valley now calls the witches' dancing place by us: So back in the pedals and the partially arduous climb over the hiking path up. One or the other meters I've worn since, is sometimes a bit rocky but basically feasible. From here, now am back direction Georgshöhe down into the valley through the village back to the starting point. Tip: Since Ross Trappe and Hexentanzplatz true tourist highlights in the region sin, the area is still kept there in nice weather days to the holiday season or weekend time, very very full. This should be borne in mind when using the roads.
