Abgesehen von den Trials an der Küste gibt es in der Gegend um Pula auch einige schöne Forstraßen, welche fast bis an die 1000m Grenze führen. Von diesen zweigen immer wieder Karrenwege und Trials ab, die oft im nichts enden. Dennoch sind auch diese Wege sehr reizvoll. Eine davon ist der Forstweg auf die Punta Montixi. Gestartet bin ich am Camping Flumendosa bei Pula. Wir radeln zur Hauptstraße zurück, zweigen rechts ab. Nach ca. 500m geht's links auf eine teilweise unbefestigte Straße, welche später wieder zur Teerstraße wird. Dieser folgen wir ständig ins Landesinnere. Nach ca. 8km geht's nur noch auf Schotter weiter. Bei km 15,78km erreichen wir die Punta Montixi. Hier bin ich noch nach rechts abgebogen um bei km 16,19 rechts auf einen Trialartigen Karrenweg welcher nach ca.700m endet zu fahren. Zurück beim Trialabzweig folgte ich noch den Forstweg nach rechts bis km. 18,9. Ab hier ging's dann wieder zurück zur Punta Montixi und auf den Anfahrtsweg zurück zum Campingplatz.

Apart from the Trials on the coast there are in the area around Pula also some beautiful forest roads that lead almost to the 1000m limit. Of these branches again and again from cart paths and Trials, which often end in nothing. Nevertheless, these ways are very appealing. One of them is the forest on the Punta Montixi. My journey started at Camping Flumendosa in Pula. We cycle back to the main road, turn right in order. After about 500m you go left on a partially unpaved road, which again becomes a tarmac road later. We follow continuously inland. After about 8km It's just continue on gravel. At km 15,78km we reach the Punta Montixi. Here I am still bent to the right by at km 16.19 right ends in a trial-like cart-track which, after 700m to go. Back at the Trial branch I still followed the forest road to the right until km. 18.9. From here we went then back to Punta Montixi and on about how to get back to the campsite.
