Von Achern aus ging die Tour durch das Acher-Tal an Weinbergen vorbei durch Kappelrodeck nach Ottenhöfen. Bis dahin war die Strecke relativ flach - doch dann ging es permanent bergauf bis nach Ruhestein (Pause).Zwischendrin gab es bei Bosenstein und beim Kernhof den freien Blick zum höchsten Gipfel im Nordschwarzwald (Hornisgrinde). Weiter ging es nochmals 140m höher um den Altsteigerskopf herum. Dort gibt es - bedingt durch den Sturm Lothar - einen herrlichen Fernblick ins Rheintal und darüber hinaus in die Vogesen. Dann geht es auf 20 km überwiegend bergab (700 hm) in das Murgtal, um dann auf der anderen Seite der Murg wieder berauf zu fahren (600 hm) zum nächsten Gipfel mit Aussichtsturm (Hohloh). Auf dem Bergrücken entlang geht es weiter zum Langmartskopf und dann nur noch abwärts über Bad Herrenalb durchs Albtal zurück nach Karlsruhe.

From Achern from the tour went through the Acher Valley vineyards passing by Kappelrodeck after Ottenhoefen. Until then, the route was relatively flat - but then it went permanently, ending at Hearthstone (pause) .Zwischendrin there were at Bosenstein and the Kernhof the clear view of the highest summit in the northern Black Forest (Hornisgrinde). We went again 140m higher around the Altsteigerskopf. There is - due to the storm Lothar - a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley and beyond in the Vosges. Then it goes to 20 km mostly downhill (700 hm) in the Murg Valley, and then head uphill again on the other side of the Murg (600 hm) to the next summit observation tower (Hohloh). On the ridge along it goes on to long-Mart head and then all downhill over Bad Herrenalb through Albtal back to Karlsruhe.
