Descrizione del percorso

Ok fellow pedalers, I am Raymond Leddy Chief Instigator and Pursuer of Cycle Gran Canaria which is a cyclist's company based in Gran Canaria. Visit us at www.cyclegrancanaria.com to see more. This first trip I've stuck up is a real loners hike, and I mean there is some hiking in it, thank God I have an Extralite ( Thanks Sergio!) Basically I have pointed the bike north and rode till I walked and eventually hit some rideable section which turned into a fire trail and was rewarded with complete solitude and endless serpintine trails and a 40k downhill. In 8 hours +- ) I met only 2 people on the trail.I will do this again very soon, still loads of off shoots to explore!!
Stock well with water and energy bars, be sure you can carry your bike for up to an hour. Ride with safety in mind, this is a very isolated area with little to no mobile coverage. Bring a map and study where you can get to a road at various points along the way. Wear MTB shoes that you can walk in. Leave no wrappers or litter behind you at all. Stop and enjoy the scenery as many times as you can, do not be afraid to slip into the granny ring at every opportunity. There is much to come. Keep up to 50psi in each tyre.
