Purtroppo a causa di un problema tecnico, la traccia non è completa sino al ritorno a Vasto, ma ripercorrendo il percorso dell'andata, è impossibile sbagliare.
Comunque i KM effettivi sono circa 48 e non i 35 segnalati.
Ormai da abitudine, si parte dalla Rotonda Histonium sulla Circonvallazione Istoniense e percorrendo al Ciclabile Lebba sino alla Riserva di Punta Aderci arriviamo alla foce del Fiume Sinello, a ridosso del Villaggio Poker di Casalbordino Lido. Da qui percorriamo tutto il lungomare di Casalbordino Lido sino alla fine, dove iniziamo a costeggiare il vecchio tracciato ferroviario. Sino a qui non ci sono particolari difficoltà: percorso pianeggiante, bellissimi scorci sul mare Adriatico percorrendo la Riserva, e tratto veloce su asfalto. Attenzione alla rampa che immette sul vecchio tracciato ferroviario. Questo in futuro (!!!) sarà parte delle celebre pista ciclabile che da Montesilvano si spingerà sino a San Salvo. Nel frattempo è quasi impraticabile: è si pianeggiante, ma la presenza di ciottoli grandi da selciato ferroviario, impedisce una pedalata agile rischiando di farvi cadere in malo modo e affaticandovi oltre misura. Ho provato a percorrerlo sino a dove è possibile, ma consiglio di prendere il lungomare sino alle Morgie e di percorrere la SS16 per giungere alla Lecceta.(praticamente il percorso registrato per il rientro).
Ci sono diversi ingressi per la Lecceta dalla SS 16: io ho utilizzato il secondo che ho trovato.
Non ero mai stato qui. Ragazzi: MERITA!! Bei sentieri con dislivelli dolci che si inerpicano sulla collina in mezzo al bosco: praticamente ci si può perdere, viste le possibilità di "tuffarsi" ad ogni angolo. In alcuni punti ci sono anche belle discese da DH per gli appassionati. Ogni tanto qualche panchina per riprendere fiato. Io ho girato qui nel primo pomeriggio di un giorno di Settembre, non c'era nessuno, ma immagino che la mattina ci sia un bel po' di biker. Per me vale 5 stelle.

Up to now there are no particular difficulties: flat course, beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea along the reserve, and fast stretch of asphalt. Attention to the ramp that leads to the old railway line. This in the future (!!!) will be part of the famous bike path that from Montesilvano will go up to San Salvo. In the meantime, it is almost impractical: it is flat, but the presence of large pebbles from the pavement rail, prevents the risk of an agile ride make you fall badly and affaticandovi beyond measure. I tried to follow it up to where you can, but I recommend you take the boardwalk down to the Morgie and take the SS16 to reach the Lecceta. (Practically the recorded route for the return).
There are several entrances to the Lecceta SS 16: I used the second one I've found.
I had never been here. Guys: DESERVES !! Bei gradient paths that climb up the gentle hill in the woods: pretty much you can lose, given the opportunity to "dive" at each corner. In some places there are also beautiful slopes DH for fans. Every so often a bench to catch his breath. I have filmed here in the early afternoon of a day in September, there was no one, but I imagine that in the morning there is quite a lot 'of biker. For me it is worth 5 stars.
