Routenbeschreibung

Alpine Group on the other side of the Aletsch Fiesch compared with discesona of over 1800 meters in altitude of Brig. It starts with a free parking between Fiesch and Lax. Just across the parking lot begins the path towards Ernen. The stretch to the village is quite busy (all relative to where you are), after the country calm is almost absolute. The road flattens out and you enter the valley that leads to Binnen. Very beautiful passage on the old road, now closed to traffic, which avoids cross the tunnel. Just before arriving at Binnen turn right towards Heiligkreuz, and slowly understand how high you still have to go.
A Heiligkreuz take a dirt road and from there to the pass there is only one direction: up! < br> The road runs well, has a positive slope, and you go to different pastures on a grassy slope completely. At an altitude of about 2300 meters you leave the road and take the path that goes up. At the beginning is steep and you have to push for about 10 minutes, after you ride almost everything up to the pass. And now: the eye view! At step opens the view on Rosa and the surrounding glaciers.
The descent is long and very varied. Earlier on easy grassy slopes, then you come to a dirt road that leads to the next track, very nice and very up to Rosswald flow. THE final part is fantastic, follows a stream of irrigation, more or less flat, very narrow and exposed sections, but perfectly smooth. Pass through the village and take the path 36. The reason lies in the number of coils that are therein: 36 in fact. They are all large, with some banks to do a throttle, since this is one of the descents that bikers use when they take the cable car Rosswald, September 20, 2013 today already closed.
It passes under the Simplon road, and here I improvised, finishing first in the middle of meadows because they were paving the way and then in the villages above Brig. Since I had time to catch the train that brought me back to Fiesch, I reached down pecking a beautiful trail, leading, again, to a trail that follows a stream of irrigation, even more narrow and exposed in the previous year. You will come to a road and follow it down to the center and the railway station of Brig
The train to Fiesch every hour. I recommend it because the only alternative is the road of the valley, 17 km busiest and with 350 meters of ascent.
