Un giro meraviglioso, tutto sommato breve ma nello stesso tempo faticoso e con una sensazionale discesa. Si parte da San Vigilio di Marebbe e risalendo la Val Fojedora, arrancando su ripida carrareccia tra il Piz de Perez ed il Monte Paracia, si tocca il giogo di Montecroce. Un bel sentiero a mezzacosta con tratto finale in portage giunge al valico di Cacagnares. La traccia n. 25 passa sotto le imponenti pareti rocciose del Monte di Gropes con qualche tratto leggermente esposto per poi immettersi nella spettacolare Val de Ciastlins. La via di discesa si sostanzia in un trail veloce e serpeggiante nella parte alta fino alla Krippesalm. Successivamente si alternano ostici passaggi su roccia ed altrettanto insidiosi passaggi nella boscaglia in una giungla di radici e gradoni di pietra. Quando si arriva alle Fontane di Ciastlins il trail riserva ancora qualche difficile passaggio da funambolo prima di andare a chiudere un itinerario, a mio sommesso parere, di gran spessore naturalistico e tecnico.

On A wonderful ride, all in all a short but tiring at the same time and with a sensational downhill. We leave San Vigilio and up the Val Fojedora, plodding on steep dirt track between the Piz de Perez and Mount Paracia, you tap the yoke of Montecroce. A beautiful path along the hillside with the final stretch in portage comes to crossing Cacagnares. The track no. 25 passes beneath the towering cliffs of Mount gropes with some stretch slightly exposed and then take in the spectacular Val de Ciastlins. The descent route is embodied in a fast and winding trail to the top Krippesalm. Then alternate intractable steps on the rock and just as treacherous passages in the bush in a jungle of roots and stone steps. When you arrive at the Fountains of Ciastlins the trail still reserves some difficult passage from tightrope walker before going to close a route, in my humble opinion, of great thickness and technical nature.
