[Testo di nonnocarb, traccia di Milzo] - Il passo ciclabile più alto d'Europa! Si parte da quota 670 m in fondo alla val Martello e si arriva a 3129 m sul passo del Madriccio sopra Solda.
Partenza dal paese di Morter (parcheggio nei pressi del campo sportivo)all'imboccatura della val Martello, valle laterale della val Venosta nei pressi di Laces. Ci riscaldiamo i muscoli per un'oretta sulla comoda ciclabile parzialmente sterrata fino a Prato allo Stelvio.
Qui inizia la salita e prendiamo la strada asfaltata verso la chiesetta di S. Giovanni (si vede proprio sopra la ciclabile) e continuiamo fino al maso Bastlwies. Si prende a sx fino alla fine dell'asfalto (Breite Locher, piccolo parcheggio). Si continua a salire su forestale comoda fino al bivio sopra il maso Obervellnair, qui si continua a dx e si arriva fino alla fine della forestale al rifugio Vellnairalm-Valnerina a quota 2000. Continuiamo su single track n°6 in leggera salita con tratti a spinta fino a quota 2089, dove il sentiero comincia a scendere fino a Waldruhe. Si arriva poi subito a Solda (1860) e in fondo al paese alla funivia (1910). Chi vorrà compiere l'intero giro con le proprie gambe non dovrà fare altro che salire lungo la strada sotto la funivia, per risparmiarsi 700m di dislivello si può invece prendere la funivia (euro 9.50). Arrivati a 2600m ci godiamo il panorama sul Gran Zebrù e sull'Ortles, la montagna più alta dell' alto Adige, e riprendiamo a salire lungo la pista di servizio agli impianti da sci. Pur con difficoltà chi avrà gambe riuscirà a pedalare fino a quota 2930, poi lunghi tratti a spinta fino al passo a quota 3129. Panorama incredibile su tutte le cime più alte dell'Alto Adige e discesa ancora più incredibile e divertente (se sarete riusciti a pedalare bike dalle abbondanti escursioni, io l'ho fatta con una Scott Nitrous da 170+170 per 18 kg!) lungo la valle del Madriccio fino al rifugio Corsi-Zufallhuette. Da qui, chi avrà ancora forze, può seguire il bel sentiero 36 con qualche saliscendi fino alla destra lago e poi poi ancora in discesa a tratti molto tecnica e ripida fino alla provinciale (in alternativa scendere subiro per la strada). Conviene poi fare un tratto di strada asfaltata, visto che il 36 è in parte difficilmente ciclabile e poi proseguire sulla forestale 36 a sx della strada o sul 22 a dx.
Con un ultimo tratto asfaltato si arriva a chiudere il fantastico giro dopo 70 km e con una discesa finale da 2500 m. di dislivello.
