Routenbeschreibung

From Venzone we cross the bridge over the Tagliamento to Pioverno and turn left on the road to Bordano. There we take the road Mte. Simeone SP36. At some point at a sign which explains the Mte Imeone and the Mte. Festa, we take the road to Mte Simeone at the right. A lot of turns and a lot of tunnels, very spectacular. At the end of the road an unpaved road continues and finally a wood trail disappears in the woods, finally ending up in a single trail. No it starts to become difficult and you have to carry the bike downhill over rocks and steep terrain. You have to stick closely!! to the GPS trail from the open cycle map, otherwise it becomes dangerous!! ( do not follow my path, since I lost my way several times, because the track is not visible all the times! Finally you end up in a former military area below Mte. Festa, where the unpaved former military road takes a steep left turn downhill, difficult to ride, a couple of tunnels and very beautiful. Finally you end up at the division point which I mentioned and head back the same way you came.
