SCHEDA TECNICA:
Verso orario, lunghezza km 52, dislivello m 1700, quota min. 502 slm, quota max 1438 slm, tempo percorrenza 5/6 ore
NOTE: Si inizia con la salita in asfalto, la Caldonazzo-monte Rovere, strada costruita dalle milizie austroungariche nel 1914 , appunto chiamata kaiserjager che offre panorami mozzafiato sulla Valsugana, con una vista stupenda sui laghi di Caldonazzo e Levico. Si attraversa l'altopiano di Lavarone da est ad ovest fino all' abitato di Carbonare in continui sali e scendi immersi nel bosco. A questo punto ho inserito un giro che passa per forte Cherle e ritornare a Carbonare praticamente tutto tra sentieri e sterrati. Da carbonare ci si dirige verso passo della Fricca sulla strada vecchia, molto suggestiva tra gallerie e tratti a strapiombo sulla valle del Centa. Alla fine discesona fino al punto di partenza. Se per qulcuno il giro è troppo lungo si può eliminare il tratto Carbonare-forte Cherle-Carbonare accorciando il giro di circa 10 km e 500 m di dislivello.
DESCRIZIONE: Si parcheggia nei pressi del campo da calcio di Cadonazzo, si parte passando per un piccolo parco in breve si arriva sull' asfalto, a questo punto inizia la salita dei kaiserjager 9 km x 760 m di dislivello con pendenza media del 8 %. Giunti sopra a spiazzo alto iniziamo ad attraversare l' altopiano di Lavarone (la parte più divertente del giro) si passa per il cimitero di guerra austroungarico Slaghenaufi poi tra stupendi sentieri immersi nel bosco si raggiunge il sito di Virti (ex comando militare della prima guerra mondiale) si continua in direzione Carbonare. Dal paese di Carbonare prima in discesa e poi in salita fino a raggiungere forte Cherle, si ritorna a Carbonare dove un sentiero ci conduce sulla statale del passo della Fricca, pochi metri e imboccheremo la vecchia strada che porta al passo prima citato. Usciti dalla strada vecchia faremo 1 km di asfalto lungo la statale (purtroppo non ci sono alternative) e poi giù nella valle del Centa quasi tutta su sentiero, qualche breve tratto di asfalto in prossimità dei paesini fino ad arrivare nel parco fluviale del Centa a questo punto un agevole sentiero ci porterà al punto di partenza.
