Il Monte Argentella è una delle cime più panoramiche dei Monti Sibillini. Purtroppo quando si è effettuato questo giro la sua vetta era ricoperta da una fitta coltre di nuvole che, pur rendendo ancora più suggestivi i luoghi, hanno lasciato ammirare ben poco dei suoi celebrati panorami. La salita vera e propria inizia dalla Fonte della Jumenta da dove, con un ripido sentiero ( un buon 60% è a spinta) si arriva alla sella di Palazzo Borghese. Da Palazzo Borghese si percorre il sentiero per il Monte Argentella che taglia il fianco settentrionale del monte, rimanendo costantemente 50 m. sotto la vetta, fino a scendere alla Fonte delle Fate ed infine a Forca Viola. Da qui finiscono le difficoltà, dovute alle pendenze ed al fondo scosceso dei sentieri, e si scende velocemente alla Capanna Ghezzi da dove, con un'antica e dimenticata strada di transumanza, si ritorna a Castelluccio di Norcia.

The Monte Argentella is one of the most scenic peaks of the Monti Sibillini. Unfortunately, when this is done around its summit was covered with a thick blanket of clouds which, while making it even more beautiful places, have left little to admire its beautiful panoramas. The real ascent begins from the Source of Jumenta from where, with a steep path (a good 60% is pushing) you get to the saddle of the Palazzo Borghese. From Palazzo Borghese follow the path to Mount Argentella that cuts the northern side of the mountain, remaining in constant 50 m. below the summit, before descending to the Source of the Fairies and finally Forca Viola. From here end up the difficulty, due to the steep slopes and at the bottom of the trails, and descend quickly to the hut where Ghezzi, with an ancient and forgotten way of transhumance, it comes back to Castelluccio di Norcia.
