Routenbeschreibung

From Castel Trosino (AP). Coming from Ascoli I advise you to leave the car just before the town so that the return will only downhill. Take the road towards Valle Castellana and, at the junction for SanVito, turn left. The enemies of the bitumen at this point should not become demoralized because the first 7-8 km, which will have to run on asphalt, will allow him to rejoice at the end of the track. Once in San Vito you can stock up on water and continue in the direction of Macchia Sunglasses ... you pass through the villages of Cerro Carpane and after that you leave the asphalt for a comfortable brecciata that leads to a pass. On the top of the pass you can appreciate the landscape in front of you with the Swivel Mount to the left, the gorges of the valley and Mount Salinello Foltrone in front of your eyes. Proceed to blot from the sun, keeping the left, but after a downhill stretch and learn to recognize already on your left are the ruins of Castel Manfrino. After driving a short distance uphill, near a wooden table, turn left on a trail for a short visit to the castle. From here through a fun downhill in a few minutes you get to blot from the Sun where the board first stop because the fatche have not started yet. Continue uphill direction Leofara and arrived at the youth hostel, turn right onto a dirt road that initially may seem ruthless, but then it becomes very enjoyable. To your left you can see in the sequence Monte Gorzano, Moscio of Pizzo, Pizzo di Sevo Macera and Death together with the Sibillini mountains among which stands the imposing Mount Carrier. Continue on the dirt road until you get to Settecerri (a village that winter is almost a ghost town). Here you can recharge water (watch the old lady who is staying in the village because if the fountain smeared with mud on your shoes dirty kill you with his hands). Now you can launch yourself into acronyms trak high voltage in the direction of San Vito. Back in San Vito you have finished the first round of the Super 8 Now take a deep breath, refresh yourself and especially think that the 6 km climb out of asphalt to St. James in front of you (at times with a 10% slope) will allow you to return at the end of home smiling! Once in San Giacomo fasten the helmet and, if necessary, lower the saddle, because the descent towards Castel Trosino is not a simple drop-down but a real natural carousel (I take this opportunity to thank those who have worked for the recovery of these paths). Walk down the path that will take you back to Castel Trosino with a smile and with the knowledge that you have drawn, riding your mountain bike, what I call the SUPER 8
I thank my friend for the collaboration Duck. Greetings from Boar
